The dark is where the sorrow lurks
The sorrow of losing a loved one,
Of losing someone who cared

The sorrow of death,
Of a loss
The sorrow of love

The sorrow we are forced to live with
The sorrow of knowing you could have made a difference

The sorrow of life
The sorrow of failure

The sorrow lurks in all of us
The sorrow that we have to live
The sorrow

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem when i was in 6th grade along with other poems that weren't so sad.
