Just Beyond
I’m walking through this darkness
It never seems to end
I feel like I’ve been walking for days,
years and decades
It’s probably only been a few hours though
My limbs are starting to feel heavy now
But I don’t stop
Because I know
Just beyond this darkness I’ll find light
Just beyond despair I’ll find hope
Just beyond anguish I’ll find joy
Just beyond cruelty I’ll find compassion
Just beyond sorrow I’ll find happiness
Just beyond hatred I’ll find love
That’s why I go on
Life seems tough now
But I can only go on living it
Hoping to find something better just beyond

"Carpe diem."
This is seems like it would be an awesome beginning to a song... the first stanza could be the first verse and the second two could be the chorus.
Just a thought. ;)
Great job as always!
