This distance
It stings like
Embedded thorns
That are bearable at first
But pain me more and more
Each new day
If I try to
pull them out
I will never stop bleeding
This distance
I try to find relief in
The words and truths
Of somebody else
But my thoughts wander
And I remember
This distance
You must know that
You are enough for me and
I was an incredible fool to
Ever loosen my grasp
On your wrists
To call you mine
I would die and think
Only of you for
Eternity
This distance.

This was a very powerful poem for me. It was written very well, and I love how you repeated the words. Well done.
