Friends Forever

We used to laugh together.
And we used to share the tears.
With all of us together.
We could conquer every fear.
We had funny inside jokes.
And crazy little names.
We got in a fare bit of trouble.
But we always shared the blame.
We were just four different people.
With four different goals.
Yet, all bound together.
Creating a common soul.
Now some years later things are different.
Some of us no longer talk.
Friends forever, doesn’t always mean forever.
But that’s just a line we had to walk.
