Losing You
Losing you would be a lot,
Like losing,
Myself.
I feel lonely,
And hopeless,
And lost.
Losing you would be a lot,
Like having a piece of my,
Heart torn from my chest.
All I can manage is,
To lay there,
Bleeding.
Losing you was,
My heart stopping,
My head pounding,
Screaming.
“No! this can’t be happening!”
“He can’t be dead!”
“This is all wrong!”
Then realization,
Hits me,
You’re gone.
Those things I thought,
I would feel when,
I lost you.
I was exact,
The truth was,
I just wasn’t ready,
To start feeling them yet.
