Daddy, Please...

July 7, 2010

I see the way you look at things,
I know it's not the same,
your constand drives to "clear your head"
Your ever-shrinking frame,
I miss our Sunday coffee runs, and daddy daughter time,
but what I miss the most is you,
the reason to my rhyme.
I see the way you look at me,
I know it's not the same,
Can I fix it, can I help?
Is anyone to blame?
You say there's nothing I can do,
but sit and let you go,
but dad, just stay, don't leave me now,
Dad, please don't say no.
