I finally came back,
Fear clawing at my stomach.
Breathe.
Breathe.
Trying to be relaxed.
Every joint,
Muscle,
Thought,
As tense as possible.
Shaking,
Trembling aspen.
You b****ed me out,
But in a
Sort of civil way.
I was okay.
Then you started
Talking behind my back,
Whispered insults,
And I couldn’t breathe,
And I wanted to punch you
In the face.
Like, legit,
As you would say.
