The simple sunlight drowned me in itself today;
The rays pulsed through my restless, vintage veins.
Slowly, my fluttering heart was fueled by the unadorned luminosity,
And the brilliance of the sky became my only source of life.

I allowed the sneaky shadows of the earth to dance upon the pale backs of my eyelids;
I exhaled memories like irrelevant bits of oxygen.
I sprawled in the green, alluring, dew dampened grass,
And danced a slow, imaginary dance with the sun.

The burning stranger in the sky freely smiled down at me today;
It became my companion, a giant shining friend.
My entire being was warmed, my heart was awoken,
And I began to live through the diaphanous sphere in the icy blue sky.
