Only I can hear the secrets
Of the Breath of the Earth.
Only I can see the constant movement
Of a giant void of nothingness.
Though I may see small,
None exists without my existance.

Without I,
A flame can not breathe,
A flower can not grow,
Water would cease to be.
Without I,
All life would die.

I am what you can not see
I am the soft whisper in your
Ear on a summer's day,
I am the force that rips even
The largest tree
From its safe haven in the soil.
I am nothing and everything
I am the Airbender

The author's comments:
This is based on the show and new movie Avater: The Last Airbender. I started writing these poems because in a story I am writing, I have characters that can control the elements and I wrote these poems as a way to help me get the right feel for each different type of element "bending". Also, the term "bender", I do not own. i just could not find another way to describe the power of controlling the elements.
