“Your 52 purple exploding vacuums shall arrive in about four business weeks because they are, in fact, being delivered by camel.”

I am damned
Royally, seriously, epically damned
Farewell freedom
A luxury once mine
But no longer

I am trapped
Isolated
In this Godforsaken corner of the universe
No visible manacles
But no matter

I am lost
On this meandering path
Descending down into Hell
A sentence of ages
And no shorter

I am gone
Past any point
Of possible escape
So I await
The relentless wrath of fate
It comes
In time
But no sooner

This is a pretty depressing and dramatic poem. I don't believe it reflected my personal feelings at the time when I wrote it. Rather, I think I was trying to get into the mind of someone who felt beyond help and hope.
