A silent nodded head to door
We slowly raise up from the floor,
Together we head to outside
Into the moonlit quiet night.
We walk along the low lit street
Hand in hand, and feet by feet.
No words are being said by me
Nor you, but we're in silent glee.
Finally we get some time
To look up at the stars that shine.
To share a moment we've hoped for
We also hope for many more.
You start to shiver you are cold,
I look at you, I long to hold.
To hug, to feel, to warm you up,
Your eyes remind me of a pup;
A love'ly yet lonely one (With lovely it has the hash mark on the e so its love-eli, sounded out)
I long to warm you like the sun.
I take off my jacket and give it to you,
Your face turns bright red, from a palish tan hue.
We embrace lovingly and I turn to you,
And all that I'll say is totally true.
You are the best no doubt in my mind
You're funny, beautiful, sweet and so kind.
When I look into your eyes
I can see them light up like fireflies.
Your hands so soft I long to touch,
To caress and handle oh so much.
Or just sit and stare into your eyes
Til' the sun greets the morning skies
But we cannot, we must move on.
In life, the game, I'm just a pawn.
Into the night we will soon fade,
But here tonight love has been made.
