For You Have the Power to Change the World
Lovely, dear lovely,
hold your head strong
and smile, my dear.
smile, my love.
They've stolen our blood, our skin and our souls,
and burned all the ashes subside.
they shot down our corpses
which they've already killed
and filled them with murder and lies.
Lovely, dear lovely,
hold your head strong
and smile, my dear.
smile my love.
They shake our sharp shrieks
and shatter them down
and use those very glass pieces
to cut open our lives.
Shriek!
and they will kill you.
cry.
and they will take those very whimpers to make a soundtrack
for their parties of evil
as they plan to diminish our hopers,
for that's all that they've left us,
that's all that resists.
Lovely, dear lovely,
hold your head strong
and smile, my dear.
smile, my love.
And they cut down our trees and burn fires of smoke
as somewhere afar stands our flame.
and they sit around that ghastly of bon
and frown for their killings are not yet alive,
their swords have not yet revived.
and as they breath in that air,
that atrocious blood air,
our flame from afar dries up our dear tear.
And they kill and they frown and they murder for fear!
as we call to each other in cries.
Lovely, dear lovely,
hold your head strong
and smile, my dear.
smile, my love.
smile, my dearest, my love.
