Painful Silence

A pain too much to bare,
A girl for which no one seems to care.
A cry for help that can't come out.
I can't scream!
I can't shout!
I run and i flee,
To a happy place,
I just can't see.
I fight and tear at the walls around me.
They keep me locked away.
Stuck between the seems.
Heart beating too fast.
No air to breathe.
Stranded under water with no way up.
I bleed an ocean of tears
For what I can not change.
I'm stuck with this life,
In this cage.
Someday this damaged girl,
Will be free.
Because this girl isn't weak.
I'm ready to speak.
