Smile for the camera it’s just a quick snap...
Then we can go back to misery, eyes dripping like a tap
If people see we are happy with next to nothing
Then maybe it will make them realize that they don’t need that special something
So okay were not that happy, we’re starving and hot
The things that make us smile is our family, with you it is too ....no I guess not
People from well off countries throw food at us in disaster
Others help us just for fun, they build a school, decorate and plaster
So yes sometimes our eyes are like tap but the kindness of some people tends to turn them off
But we do get jealous when celebrity’s flash their cash like David Hasslehoff
What’s the point of having all that money to waste when we are through here hungry and really sad?
They spend it on stupid things like a boob job or new car this is what makes me mad
I know my life isn’t meant to be perfect but come on give me a break
Why can’t we have everyday luxuries like food and water... for god sake?
Are we not important? Do we not exist?
Is there something stopping us being us far off in the mist?
Like I said before, smile for the camera it’s just a quick snap

We always hope on a Saturday that help will arrive by Monday
