I wake up today
In great dismay
I go wash my face
And proceed with the day
It’s loud and hurtful
It feels like a basketball hitting your head
I just want to go back to bed
But I proceed with the day
My head is throbbing
It feels so bad
It really just makes me mad
I go back home
To hit the hay
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day
