the lies that float around this room
stick like yellow on a smoker's ceiling
everyone will forget them soon
but they will always be there, never healing.

the love that floats around this place
is as invisible as you've made yourself
everyone is somewhat alone and unsafe
but they will always know what they've felt.

the anger that floats around these people
is as cold and hard as stone
everyone cries and runs to the steeple,
but god will never be home.

the loss that floats around this grave
is as lost as a dead end sign
everyone has forgotten to come and pray,
but they will somehow learn in time.

The author's comments:
I wrote this about some really screwed up things that have been happening in my life lately that i'll very confused about, but hope will go away in time.
