Whisper in my ear
The words I want to hear
Tell me that I mean the world
Make me think it's true
Make me think that you're the one
I can hold on to
Whisper carelessly-as you please
Just think nothing of it
Tell me what I want to hear
You know that I love it
Whisper it until the day
You finally break my heart
Because I knew when you said
"I love you"
It meant nothing from the start
