An Unwanted Weed

An unwanted weed
In a luscious garden.

Plucked and thrown aside
Left in the sun to wilt and die.

An unwanted weed
In the rows of corn.

Broken in species
Broken in uniform.

An unwanted weed
In the patches of berries.

Discarded because of taste.
Discarded because of imperfection.

An unwanted weed
In a class full of prosperous pupils

Thrown into the hall because of mischife
Thrown aside because lack of motivation.

An unwanted weed
In the picture perfect family

Disowned because of the refusal of hipocracy
Abandoned because of difference.

An unwanted weed
Found alone in the grass

An unwanted weed
Thrown into an overgrown flower patch

An unwanted weed
Now lives untouched by the judgment of others.

An unwanted weed
Unpluckable by society's eager hand

An unwanted weed
Grows where the unwanted go.
