Here we are in chemistry class. There's no chemistry in this room, though.....it's an all-girls school and no one's brave enough to be lesbian.

They look down at my arms and legs
Say that they refuse to stay
My deadened self is much too real and they can't use it --
Not for their steel -- not for their nooses
So when they take my corpse and hide it
Will you ride out to find it?
When i'm dead and gone you'll carry on?

Tonight is the day that we drown in our misery
Touch my hair and pull me down in you
These lovely hands i've held so dear
For all of your living years
Don't raise an eyebrow when you know it's true.

I will lie limp in a single kiss
Picked like strawberries by foreign fingers
Sympathizing with sadness sweet, the tears that they have shed.
It's all a game that we must play
Obligated to lose today
My life and my love will lie with me...

The blood that bubbles under my skin
The only promise that within, there's life
The only sign...
Reaching up to your lovely face
Tears leak out from afraid gaze
Never been this far before, never had to stretch
It's always been so black, those nights that won't come back
The ones i wait for every day
Like eternities.

Stars will stare and waves will shout
Sounds will never cease.
I will cease to breathe and to see
My blood will all run dry
So just kiss me finally and touch the sky.

I'm, um, not too sure what this thing even means. I feel so senseless sometimes that it's upsetting. I haven't found a way to verbally express contrition, sadness, or love in a way other than a very matter-of-fact, faraway, impersonal way. Maybe a bit of me that's been dead is coming to life.
