"Love is not love which alters, when in alteration finds."

I soar over the world
and see what I have left
living is behind me now I
only exist in death.

I don't know how it happened
or if it took too long,
all I know is I was walking home
when everything went wrong.

It was after school on a Monday
just leaving softball tryouts.
I had homework, then a dance class
and a sister to take care of.

It was a bad part of town
quite scary at night
I was minding my own business
when I passed a raging fight.

Guns were drawn,
and blades were flicked up
I was in the middle of something
not knowing if I would make it out.

They said it was drugs
that I had seen too much
and that I was a witness,
their identity I could not touch.

As it all comes back to me
I'm flying through these skies
I see the gang that cause the fight
and why I had to die.

Wrong place, wrong time
that's what they have to say,
there was nothing that could stop them
that day was just my day.

Now the angels call me,
and to their arms I run
I see the people i always loved
in a light as bright as the sun.

I'm always watching over you,
and helping you make it through
all my family and loved ones
I love you more than you could have knew.

I live the life ahead of me
and I don't look in the past.
Don't cry any tears for me,
because my love will always last.
