Fingers
Dabbing at the
Letter keys seemingly
Like there's nothing more important
Wasting

My life
As it would be
For tasks are hard to do
With an ever there distraction
Over here

It shouts
I can't ignore
Youtube, Facebook, Gmail
Leave me alone I want to scream
They don't

Monsters
They bite at my
Attention span always
When will they stop or when will I
Kill them

The author's comments:
This is a sequence of cinquains about the distractions of the internet. Cinquains are five line poems with the syllable counts of two, four, six, eight, two.
