Lovers parting
We never quite got the chance to say goodbye.
We couldn’t hug, kiss or whisper words of love to each other.
Though we must part now,
I’ll look deep in your eyes for the last time,
And get that hug, a million times warmer.
That kiss, a billion times more electrifying.
Those words of love, a trillion times more comforting.
For sometimes, we must say goodbye,
Even if we don’t want to.
But when we look into each other’s eyes,
We’ll see our love bloom on,
