"We live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is a reality. We are that reality. When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, and being nothing, you are everything. That is all."-Kalu Rinpoche

It was the very first home I'd ever known.
Before I'd kissed the surface of vast houses of
Stone and brick, radiating chill, my
vulnerability echoing infinitely
Through the cool, hollow walls that held
no meaning.
But I knew that a picture paints a thousand words
So out of my mind I drew up a home of
my own
Where my happy thoughts would shade over the sad, where comfort was felt
And the cloud of sorrow I'd once felt before
Could explode into a million invisible
dirt particles
That would whir around the sky but never touch my soul.
