Maybe it’s because
We have nothing better to do
We just run our mouths
Without thinking it through
We find the first person who is different
And we find fault in him
Maybe we’ll apologize later
But the chances are really slim
Maybe it’s the way you talk
Or even the style you lack
Could you really call us your friends
Or will we stab you in the back?
We’ll always criticize you
It’s like getting stomped in the dirt
No matter what they say
Words really do hurt
