Ode to my Apple

June 22, 2010
My heart pounded when I saw the flash of red color in my eyes

a perfectly round marble, rolling across the kitchen counter
Your soft and delicate texture made me warm up
hot skin to a shooting star
Your juice lingers beneath my teeth, and softens in my tongue
When water has been soaked up by a dry paper towel
The tangy sweetness turns my hot skin
into cold leather
The bitter feeling when you jump out into the snow from your warm tasty bed
With the
dark ,

Blood shot ,
red shade,
my exasperating temptation is eager to burst

A nuclear bomb about to explode
I ignore my conscience and grab the apple
The softness of your skin, a baby’s butt
A cheetah, when she is trying to protect her cubs from the evil

Your bright color glows

a rainbow shinning after a rainy day
Even when wet, I see you from afar,
Hanging form your long branch
An diamond earring
hanging from my soft and delicate ear
You are my red spotlight when I am on stage
My tardiness for class is trivial
I am now at my knees
begging for one last light to shine on
