You're out there rain or shine protecting the frontlines
You're out there to protect the ones you love and care for
You're even risking your life for people you don't even know
But you know what risk you're taking
And you're taking it anyway
So I would like to say
Thank you for serving

The author's comments:
I was thinking about the soliders in Iraq and the heck they go through everyday. After awhile of thinking I decided to write a poem to thank the brave men and women fighting for our freedom and safety.
