A young man
Sent over seas
Fight for us
Fighting for his life.
The sights of his Ar-15
The only thing that stands between him
Between him and his enemy
His finger on the trigger
A shot rings out
Cries are heard from the desolate village
The village stands lone
Like a broken finger on an otherwise healthy hand
He is still standing, but his enemy is not
His barrel is smoking
The shell ejects
He is one of the world's finest,
He is, a Marine.

This is a tribute to all soldiers that were sent over seas by Bush and Obama.
