- What Matters
If I could.
If I could change anything and everything that I’ve done wrong in our relationship,
Things that were poisonous or lethal, would I?
That is what has brought us to where we stand ,
Every lie, every truth told has brought us to this point.
Truth always reveals itself no matter how hidden.
Light touches even the darkest corners.
Skeletons in my closet turned to mummies,
Ancient, preserved memories like a ghost haunt me.
Muscle didn’t rid the weakness that laid in my body or mind.
Scarred to say yes because if that some how came true, where would we be?
Butterfly effect, the wrong butterfly dead, balance, order, become out of sync.
In my head this relationships foundation is stronger then any form of weak.
My deepest apologies for all the incorrect things I’ve done.
Change them not, because if one mess up not happening would or could change where we stand, regret.
And the one and only regret in my life I believe I could possibly EVER have is not trying hard enough.
Doing enough, or saying enough, saying how much I love and need you beyond measures .
Not making emotions known.
If you were to walk out and leave, our past would be my present.
Sinkhole, stuck in it.
Without you in my life my future wouldn’t be complete.
