Cause, effect.
Effect.
Watching my moves, like I’m playing a game of chess.
Scared to lose you, bend back.
Handstand.
Losing myself, lost regret.
Dissolving memory.
Waves erasing footprints, footsteps.
Talk, insight, and opinion fill my head.
Few months drift, crash, burn.
One year strangers, then an anonymous who.
Tsunami, stay and hold me.
Life raft, I’m drowning.
Emotional tides, lows, highs.
I don’t know.
Clue, give me a hint.
Something like breadcrumbs, Hansel and Gretel.
Jack and Jill on a hill, heart in a bucket, dropped it.
Law of gravity, so it rolled.
Crying Goldie Locks because it’s unfair.
Tell me is my love to hot, to cold?
Is it to much, to little?
So intense, that it is not enough?
To in-between?
To wrong, to not right?
You do you.
I don't do me, I do us.
Out of my way, priority not by convenience or option.
If it looks like, feels like, sounds like, it is.
Benefit of the doubt, have it.
Words unspoken speak.
Def from the words you’ve spoke.
Mute.
Muted reality.
Muted the world.
Gut feeling, heart in your hands, putty that‘s what I am.
Quicksand, I’m sinking in a sinkhole.
Save me now before time runs out or away.
Hourglass, times escaping yet remaining.
In the mirror there’s a two figured, outlined.
Detailed imperfections and flaws become magnified.
Beauty of a girl and beauty of a boy from a 9month womb.
No one held there hands as they came through.
Alone she, alone he came too.
A lifetime of lonesome or a lifetime shared, regardless of what does happen alone will always be there.
The reflection in the mirror that she sees is him and her.
She sees him within her like her heart and without him there the beat is non-existent nor is her life.
