Violence, violence--what a horrible thing.
Torture and terror make it sing,
Full of hate and awful thoughts;

It is possible to be stopped.

Don’t let anyone tear you down,
If you can don’t wear a frown.
If someone keeps on hurting you,
Let them know it’s a sad thing to do.
Maybe stress has overtaken their path,
So they are shaken.
Let them know they’re not the only one;
Be a friend, and then it will be fun.
No more violence will be in your way
Then it will be a happy day.
No more fear and no more hurt;
Violence has become exert.
Violence, violence--can’t stop your hopes and dreams.
If you conquer it, you will be free.
If violence is pushing you around,
Don’t be afraid to give it a pound.
Don’t think negative, always be alert;
And if you do this you won’t get hurt.
Stop the violence and bring the peace.
That is what will keep everybody calm and on earth.

I like the message I got out of it! I think this piece flows well, and it works nicely as a chant. Look at some of my pieces and comment me sometime!
