Take me on adventures
to soar above myself,
at a wicked speed- faster than
the speed of
Light.
Flying around corners
breaking barriers of the heart
on a series- of terrifying
death defying
Wheels.
(wearing a helmet,
of course. It’s a safe guard
to life- but also a link
down to
earth.)
Push above the rest with
each stroke- a movement
into space (and a tired body)
into a calm, carefree
Relaxation.
Take me soaring and
forgiving -don’t forget-
on these machines, this
plain black pair of
Rollerblades.
