Halloween
Pumpkins and Costumes fill the air.
Witches and ghosts, surrounding the streets.
Kids knock on doors and say “Trick or Treat”
All they want is candy, eating till they're sick..
Jack O' lanterns give creepy smiles,
scary decorations are put up.
Carved and cleaned days before with knives and spoons.
A mask of fear is put on by some,
attempting to scare the little ones.
Some skip out, having no holiday spirit.
Sitting at home, watching TV.
Parents accompany most,
telling their children to not grab too much.
Holidays are for everyone to take a break.
So eat some candy like other kids or relax like other adults.
