Dream
I dream of you; so often.
Same dream. Unknown meaning.
I’m forced to wonder if it’s what I want.
If it’s what you want.
Those long brown curls, big brown eyes, and adorable smile.
You’d love her. Just as much as I do.
When you walk in, I can see I’m right.
The smile on your face is so memorable.
Just like it was that time, so many years ago.
I’ll never forget that moment.
I can’t dwell for long however,
Before he enters.
The resemblance is mesmerizing.
You have the same eyes, same smile.
And I love it on both of you.
So the four of us, sit around a table, and eat.
Sound normal? It is.
Yet at the same time, it is so special.
Well to me it is anyway.
Will I ever get to actually experience it?
Who know, but I can always dream.
