He Remembers ...
He remembers surfing with his Dad,
Watching him succeed and he fail.
The position his body was in,
Beating every wave
It was a miracle.
He sometimes messed up,
But he eventually overpowers the monstrous waves.
He never found out how he did it
But it was amazing.
He handled each and every one
Even in Body Surfing.
Throwing his body out in the wave
To excel his speed.
It now came down to his son.
Sweating nervously,
But ready to pounce on a wave.
He dreamed of moments like these
And he succeeded and conquered the waves
Just like his Dad.
He knows the feeling now
Of beating the waves,
All because of one person
His own Dad.
