Second Chances
I stand in the rain,
Trying to wash away the memories.
Ignoring the rest of the world,
I refuse to move on.
People stare at me,
But they don’t understand.
I want to free myself of all my mistakes,
To have a second chance,
Like a phoenix rising from the flames.

When I wrote this, I wasn't upset or even angry. I was actually tired. I don't know where it came from... it just...happened.
