'The difference between the almost right word & the right word is really a large matter--it's the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning.'
Twain

Time will heal all wounds
But what happens when
The wound is cut anew
Every day again

It could be all my life
Or maybe longer still
For time to heal my strife
And by then I'll have my fill

What could God's plan have been
To put me here like this
My happiness so thin
To know I can only wish

It's clear I can do naught
But still I will not lose
In the past I've fought
And forever I'll fight through

It's clear I can do naught
Though some might disagree
In the past I've fought
And so I will 'til free
