Forbidden Love

I look, I see, I see your green eyes glisten at me…looking at you I smile, your hand comes toward mine. I hold it, but try to pull away, you tighten your grasp...its like forbidden love...successfully and painfully, I'm dieing slowly... towards the light...I can’t give in towards my feelings for you, imagining you and I...its artistic. I’m giving up...what choice do I hear you breathing next to me, to see you starring at me with those tempting eyes, its irritating, I’m liking you. But I’m destroying my own soul by feeling this way for you, I got to get over you...

The author's comments:
I was inspired mostly by myself and my feelings towards someone. I put it on paper and was fascinated by what I had. I hope people will cherish my piece of work like I have. I hope it will intrigue them to want to hear more of my poetry.
