I am a pebble by a stream
I live in a house so peacefully

But sometimes I get kicked around
Or even thrown to the other side
I leave my home, not being able to return

But no matter because I make a new house in the sand
But once again the big man comes back
To kick and throw me again

So one day I decide I've had enough
And one day when that big man comes back
I will set myself upright and when that big man comes thumping about careless as always
He will step on me and shout.

That big man will never come back
And I, a pebble will sit by the stream
Make a home and live in peace.
