All I want is independence,
to be free from these chains upon my ankles.
To fly like a bird in the open sky,
No direction, no instruction.
Why can’t you let me go?
Why can’t I just breathe without you telling me to?
I’m trapped in a cage full of lies,
With no hope to ever be told the truth.
The key to this lock lies within my heart,
And the key to my heart is nowhere to be found.
