It's death again he's always there
Comes and goes as he pleases
Rain or shine, night or day
He can even make pain go away.
We go alone married or single
He takes the strong and brave-weak or scared.
He is something on our minds at times
We do not welcome his presence, until it's our time.
Death may come early for some and too late for others
It's a part of life.
Every time we look behind
Or look towards the future
He is there.
This is why I do not fear and do not hide,
but face the truth
To move on to a new place and time

It was a homework assignment that came surpisingly easy for me, don't know why. Much to my amazement she chose to use it as a template for her other classes. I just thought I would lilke to share it with others.
