A New Beginning

A country betrayed by its leaders,
Everyone searching for that new beginning,
Suppressed by fear deep inside them,
Their government under distress,
A new leader is chosen.
Everyone has their hopes up again,
For change within lives,
Expecting a new and better beginning,
Voicing their need for change and expecting results,
Those who once felt drained now feel replenished,
Laws are passing and people are becoming more convinced,
Knowing that this man can change our world to make it better,
The people are reuniting.
