Pink Cherry Blossom

June 8, 2010
The course of true love never did run smooth.
And according to you,
It has ended in a deep dark pit.
A pit that was filled,
By them,
With quicksand,
And sharp objects that cut you,
Every time you try to get out.

There is a tree outside the pit you say,
With 109378 branches.
You’ve tried 109377 times to get out,
And with each try,
Another branch breaks.

So try one last time,
Break that last branch,
Because then you will hear me say,
From the solid ground way up above your head,
“I can help you out of the quicksand,
You just gotta take my hand”.

"Take my hand if you want to live,

There's nothing left that can save you.

This may be your only chance left, do not say no,

Please, with all my heart, do not let go.
