Courtyard Bench
The rusty old bench used to be new.
It once could have held me and maybe you.
But now it lays rotten, beaten, and brown.
Staying in the courtyard, all broken down.
The bench crumbles by day.
With no hopes to stay.
But in the end, when alls said and done.
That old rusty bench will all but be gone.
