I can accept
Epic failure
In papers, and figures
In numbers and letters
In my own soul
My own faith
In my whole
Life, and in my happiness
In the amount of sleep I get, and
The quality of food I eat
I can accept
Failures that stay on my record
And failures that have not even
Happened yet

But for failing
You
And for failing
Loving you
There is no salvation
No absolution
No exoneration
No amnesty

And for failing
You, and failing
Loving you
When I tried my best
When I worked so hard
Shutting myself up time and time again
Saying more than any other friend
Sacrificing myself to serve your end
When I did my absolute best …

Nor is there any
Hope.

Because for failing
You
There is no salvation
No absolution
No exoneration
No amnesty.

I loved this. So much. I don't even know exactly why, but I like that, and there's just something about your words that makes this so awesome to read.
