A Lifetime of memories
I remember when I could be amused for hours with hot wheels car;
 when I would color a coloring book and connect the dots.
 I remember when I could swing across the monkey bars at recess;
 when I could ride my bike to school.
 I remember when I could play basketball with my friends
 when I could run a mile.
 I remember when I could play varsity sports;
 when I would go on dates.
 I remember when I graduated from high school;
 when I graduated from college.
 I remember when I could drink as much as I wanted;
 when I could eat anything I wanted to.
 But now I’m old.
 And the only thing left,
 is what I remember.
