The thoughts pulse into my head

Like a heart beat
Sending blood throughout my veins

Like a mail carrier
Delivering letters throught the city
A thinking mind lets go

Like heavy eyes shut
by the stressful day, with the world on its shoulders
Like the portal closed
By the child's vivd imagination
The fears scream louder then reality
like a child in a horror film
Playing in the theater
Like the big picture moving
Above all in the blackened room

People sit mindlessly
Like a brainwashed army ready to kill
On the muddy battlefields
Like the monsters
Creeping in the shadows of the night.
