I remember April 5, 2010.
I remember waking up after a restless night.
I remember the hours of driving,
alternating between nonstop chatter and anxious silence.
I remember seeing that brick behemoth for the first time,
and the chill up and down my spine that accompanied it.
I remember sitting on the edge of my seat for two hours.
I remember the shot that almost changed the sport,
almost became a fairy tale,
almost became a modern day David v. Goliath.
Almost.
I remember April 5, 2010.
