In a dream I see my day
But this time, in a different way
I walk the halls, I see the places
I see my friends with their unknowing faces
But this time I cannot contain
All the thoughts that drive me insane
This time they will hear it straight
I’ll let you know all that I hate
I speak my mind, I don’t lie
I’m done being, “Mr. Nice Guy”
You hear the words I never spoke
And this time you know it’s no joke
But before my last honest words to you are spoken
The light seeps in and I am awoken.
