Dark nor Light

By , Wood Dale, IL
Darkness swales its victims
It engulfs you
And consumes your every soul
It makes your desires melt away
And nothing seem worth grasping

Light blocks its victims
It overpowers you
And controls your every thought
It makes your wishes die away
And mesh with the others around you

Wholeness is barely grasped
It’s neither light nor darkness
It floats in a middle plain
And when grasped your never the same
