Oh dear rain cloud overhead
Please stay, please rain down on me
And wash me away.
Take me to another day.

Oh dear rainbow
Please never fade.
Cover me forever in your colorful shade.
Let me rest in the brightness you have made.

Oh dear mother
Please don't cry
When you find I'm gone and left to die.
Don't cry for the things I'll never do
Or for the things I've lost.
Don't cry for me but cry for you
For all your plans have fallen through.

I asked to sleep and never wake
To live in the end of it all.
I had to be a life away
Don't sit and wait for my call.
I'll be in the rain the next time she falls.
